The simple explanation is that PLEXIGLAS®, CRYLON® and PERSPEX® are all brand names for an acrylic glass, produced by different manufacturers and are similar or nearly identical in properties and applications. While the brands PERSPEX® and CRYLON® are more prevalent in the United Kingdom and Europe, PLEXIGLAS® is more commonly used in the United States.
